Candace Carole "Candy" Matney

Candace Carole Matney, 72, of Angleton passed away on June 15, 2022. Candy was born on December 2, 1949 in Bay City to Richard and Arthuryne (Sparks) Harrison. Candy loved to quilt and gifted her beautiful creations to family and friends. Candy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Matney, a daughter at birth, her parents, stepfather, and a brother. Left to treasure her memory are her children: Monroe (Rochelle) White, Robin Stephens, Steven White and Donna Starry; sisters: Nina (Robert) Tomlinson, Claire (Dwight) Eggert, Lura (Danny) Tennison, Tammy Jones and a brother Richard (Henrietta) Harrison: 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Memorial Service following at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Palms Funeral Home.
