Carlos was born to Vicente and Isabel Luna on June 30, 1939. He graduated from Angleton High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged after serving twenty-one years. He was a Vietnam Veteran while in the Air Force and after his return home he volunteered to accompany our fallen heroes back to their homes and families and assist in any way he could. After his Air Force retirement, he went to work for Dow Chemical Security and stayed with Dow for seventeen and a half years. Carlos loved to travel and enjoyed many visits to different states with a goal to visit all of the U.S.A. He loved having family around, having cookouts, especially if someone else did the cooking. Most afternoons you could set your clock by his daily trips to Kroger, Walmart, McDonalds, Jack in the Box and more of his favorite places. He was always running into someone to talk to at any of these places. Most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren: always wanting to hear from them, offering advice, and making sure all their needs were taken care of. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents Vicente and Isabel Luna, brothers Ernest and Thomas Luna, son Albert and grandson Eric Luna. Carlos is survived by his wife Luciana, sons Ruben (Patricia), Rodney, and a brother Robert Luna, grandchildren Victoria, Matthew, Allison, Lance, Madison Luna. Pallbearers will be Julian Segura, Eddie Damian, Marcus Calderon, Matthew Luna, Lance Luna, and Vicente Jasso Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Victoria Luna, Allison Luna, Madison Luna, and his very special buddy Michael Bosarge. Carlos' family would like to give sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at Harbor Home Health Care and Hospice. A very special thanks to nurse and C.N.A.s Debbie, Felicia, and Michell for the wonderful care, patience, professionalism, and untiring support in caring for Carlos.
