Caroline Jorge (Smith) Lewis, 59, of Angleton passed away on November 27, 2023.
Caroline was born on March 10, 1964, in Beaumont, Texas to Laurence Sheldon and Mary Beatrice (Dowden) Smith.
Caroline enjoyed writing songs, playing music (guitar and violin) and singing at family gatherings and with youth choir. She was an excellent cook and liked preparing and experimenting with traditional Southern recipes. In her youth she enjoyed roller skating and horses. Later in life she started raising and breeding
registered Cané Corso dogs here in Texas. Her goal was to educate people on what a protective and gentle family pet they can be, for a large dog.
Those that preceded her in death include her parents Laurence and Beatrice, and brother Paul.
Left to treasure her memory are her husband, Todd Lewis; in-laws, Thomas and Carolyn Lewis; children, Tyler Presley Lewis, Catherine Mae (Lewis) Dirzanowski, Trenten Dirzanowski (Son in Law), grandson Rone Emerick Dirzanowski; siblings, Joye Smith; Laurence Smith, Jr.; and Charles Smith as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service following at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Palms Funeral Home, Angleton, Texas.
