Cassandra Darlene Krenek, 64, a cherished mother, devoted wife, and beloved grandmother, passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on August 12, 1960, in Freeport, Texas, Cassandra's warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As a dedicated cashier at Home Depot, she was known for her friendly smile and welcoming demeanor, always ready to lend a helping hand to customers and coworkers alike. Cassandra took great pride in her work, instilling a sense of community in those around her. Family was the cornerstone of Cassandra's life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Krenek; her sons, Jerry Krenek and Buck Krenek; her beloved daughter, Kathy Krenek; and her cherished daughter-in-law, Jessica Krenek. Her grandchildren, Lane, Colten, and Keira Krenek, were the light of her life; she adored them more than anything and cherished every moment spent with them. She also leaves behind numerous siblings.
Cassandra was passionate about life’s simple pleasures. She loved to travel, cast a line in search of fish, enjoy shopping sprees, and cozy up to watch her favorite show with her grandkids, "That 70’s Show". Her sense of humor and infectious laughter will be deeply missed. Though Cassandra has departed from this earth, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved and touched. May her memory be a blessing.
Cassandra was preceded in death by: her parents: August Morris and Bessie Morris, and her siblings: Melvin Clark, Calvin Boswell, Lonnie Hall, and Avis Morris.
