Charles Dean Morrison

Charles Dean Morrison, 76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, surrounded by his loving family after his courageous battle with cancer. Dean was born on February 26, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas to Doris Jane Archer Morrison and Charles Richard Morrison. He graduated from Wichita Southeast High School in 1963 and attended Wichita State University. Dean married the love of his life, Sharon, in 1972 in Houston. The Morrisons moved to Brazoria where Dean worked at Lyondell in Matagorda for 20 years. Dean loved woodworking, fishing and hunting, gardening and playing golf with his grandsons. Besides being a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, Dean held an unwavering faith in God, serving the Lord as a greeter for many years. Dean is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon; his two children, Melissa and James; his grands, Jaden, Kylen, and Logan; his brother Dr. Richard Morrison (Donna) from Wichita, Kansas, and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 am at Angleton Central Assembly of God.
