Charles E. Ainsworth, 74, of Holiday Lakes, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2012 in Houston. He was born to William & Deanie Ainsworth in Oak Grove, La. on October 9, 1938. Charles went to Heaven to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness. He was proud to have served his country for 25 years in the U.S. Army. He was a disabled Viet Nam War Veteran. He delivered meals for ACTIONS for 25 years. He was active in the food pantry at Holiday Lakes Baptist Church, and was a member of the Holiday Lakes Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as Chaplain & as an EMT for 25 years. He was also a member of the American Legion, VFW & Disabled American Vets. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Aubrey; and his sister, Doris. Charles is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frances Ainsworth; sons, Charles Eric Ainsworth & John Ainsworth; brothers, Eddie Ainsworth of Oregon, H.K. Ainsworth of Brazoria, Clarence Ainsworth of Henderson, TX, & Donald Wayne Ainsworth of Arizona; grandchildren, Terri, Ashley, Amber & Anthony, and also 4 great-grandchildren.
