Charles E. Cooper, 83, of Angleton passed away Monday June 27, 2016 in Lake Jackson, Texas Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services scheduled for 3:00 p.m. in Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto, Texas. Charles was born October 29, 1932 in Alto, Texas to Harmon & Eula Cooper. He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956 and worked as Commercial Pilot. He was the first Mosquito Control Pilot of Brazoria County, retired from DOW Chemical and was a Flight Instructor. Member of the Confederate Airforce now (Commemorative Airforce) since 1973, also flew as a participate in the first Galveston Air Show in 1973. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters; Mildred Wycough & Ola Mae Wood & brothers; James & Harmon (Pete) Cooper. Survivors include his nieces & nephews; Stewart Wood, Michael Wycough, Jackie Cooper, Hal Cooper, Sammy Cooper, Marcia Cooper & Karen.
