He delighted in participating in Vacation Bible School, and often treated fellow volunteers to his famous banana pudding and peach cobbler.

Pete enjoyed spending time with family, helping others, cooking, painting, making people laugh, and playing harmonica. He was a loving husband, affectionate father and grandfather, and caring friend who will be remembered for his warmth, sense of humor, and knack for remembering numbers.
