Christopher Shane Casey was born on August 5, 1979 in Freeport, Texas to Julia Ann McNeill Casey and Billy Mack Casey, Jr. Christopher departed this world and earned his heavenly wings on December 1, 2018. Christopher is survived by his mother, Julia Ann McNeill (Judy) and step-mother, Peggy Jo Casey. Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Billy Mack Casey, Jr. Christopher was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Betty Allison; and Edward and Jeanne McNeill. Christopher is survived by his sister, Kimberly Ahrens, her husband Brad Ahrens, and their children, Lacey Ahrens, Macie Ahrens, Laynee Williams, Jace Ahrens, Jillian Williams and Colt Ahrens. Christopher leaves his "Uncle Jimmy", James McNeill, and his two children, Mike and Mark; his aunt Peggy Spyker, and her children, Richard and Stewart, his aunt Sherry Harris and her child, Pamela, and grandchildren Lindsey and Cassie. Christopher also leaves Terry and LaBonne Casey, uncle and aunt, with their children, Elizabeth and Megan, Megan's husband Colt Phillips, and their children, Grace and Catherine. Christopher very much loved and cherished Julie West and her children, Zane and Dakota West, who he considered his sons. Christopher had many other cherished extended family members from the Walters family, especially his Grandma Jackie, and numerous friends that loved him dearly. Christopher graduated from Angleton High school and made his home in Brazoria County. He loved to cook, fish, hunt and anything that involved outdoor activities with his dad and friends. Christopher was a very compassionate man and spent his own last months of his life assisting in the care of his father, assuring his father's comfort while suffering with terminal illness. A memorial service will be held at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 3:30. Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration of Christopher's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, a cause that he and his father were very passionate in supporting.
