Claude Samuel Pardue Jr.

Claude S. Pardue Jr., of Angleton passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Lake Jackson, Texas. He was born to Claude S. Pardue Sr. and Aeleathea Pardue in Huntington, Indiana on October 14, 1930. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Jo Ruth Pardue. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Lake Jackson. Mr. Pardue moved to Anderson, Indiana at the age of 3. He served in the US Navy during the Korean war. He worked for Container Corporation for 15 years and then for Anderson Community Schools for 15 years before retiring in 1992. He was a Mason for 55 year, beginning his Masonry in June 1958. He loved to restore Model"A" Fords. Was married to Jo Ruth Pardue for 36 years. He had 3 children, Penny Turner(husband Brad), Michael Pardue(wife Jodi), Jeffery Pardue(wife Nona), 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He had 4 step children, Cindy Gernand(husband Ted), Marcus Walker(wife Penny), Craig Walker(wife Debbie), Joe Walker(wife Yvonne) and numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
