Daisy Bell Copeland

Daisy B. Copeland of Danbury left this world on November 6, 2013 to join the love of her life, Tommy. She leaves behind four children, Nancy Mcintire and husband, Jerry of Hurst, TX, Carolyn Garrett and husband, Rodney of Danbury, TX, Tommy Copeland, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX and Billy Wallace; six grandchildren, Bret Mcintire, Christopher Garrett, Jessica Garrett, Amber Long, Kevin Copeland and Crystal Wallace; four great grandchildren, Trevor Mcintire, Collin & Audrey Sutherland; and numerous nieces and nephews and other beloved family members. She also had an adopted granddaughter and friend, Crystal Matamoros. Daisy was born November 27, 1924 to Walter & Nancy Harp in San Gabriel, Texas. She grew up in Davilla, Texas alongside her six sisters and one brother. She graduated from Taylor High School in 1941. Daisy was married briefly to William Wallace and had two children, Nancy and Billy, but on August 21, 1957 she married her soul mate, best friend and love of her life, Tommy Glen Copeland. They had two children together, Tommy Copeland, Jr. and Carolyn Garrett. Danbury became home in 1978. Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, six sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Carroll Grigsby to officiate. Visitation will be Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home.
