Dale Frank Meyer

Dale Frank Meyer, 63 of Angleton, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023. He was born August 4, 1959 to Glen and Isobel Meyer. He earned his bachelor's degree in law enforcement. He worked in Law Enforcement for the next 35 years. He retired 8/1/2021 with 21 years of service with the Angleton Police Department. In November he went to Ireland and fulfilled a long-time dream. December 15, 2021, he got the devastating diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer and started the battle against it. In November 2022 he fulfilled his dream to see the Northern Lights. It was the hardest trip ever, but he was happy he had done it. Dale was one of the kindest and most loving people. He did a lot of good for people in his community and church and will be missed. He is proceeded in death by his parents Glen and Isobel Meyer, his brother David and one nephew, Geoffrey. Dale is survived by his loving wife Tonie, brothers Dennis and wife Stephanie, Duane and wife Angela and sister-in-law Linda Meyer, widow of David; nieces Patti and Kathy, and nephews Bradley and David, Jr. Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2023 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Danbury at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic cemetery. In Liew of flowers the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude's or your local SPCA. His love for his dogs was well known to all who knew him. Service Details.
