Dale Olivia Satchell

Dale Olivia Margoliner Satchell passed away October 24,2023 at the age of 84 with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 29, 1939, in Lucedale, Mississippi to Viron Oneal and Nora Jenkins Strickland Kesterson. Dale touched the lives of those around her with her kindness, grace, and unwavering love. Dale’s journey through life was one of compassion and devotion. A loving wife, Dale shared many precious moments with her husband, Alan Satchell. Together, they built a lifetime of memories. Their marriage was a testament to the power of lasting companionship and unconditional love. Dale moved to Texas at the age of eighteen, eventually settling in Angleton. Over the years she held several roles, but her most cherished were those of mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Dale was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church in Angleton for almost 58 years where she taught Sunday school and worked in the nursery for numerous years. She taught cake decorating at Brazosport College where she also managed the bookstore. She could not count the number of cakes she made for family and friends over the years.

She is survived by her husband Alan Satchell; children: George Margoliner and wife Cheryl, Debra Bundick and husband Richard, Robert Margoliner and wife Shanell, and Wayne Satchell; sister Peggy Stephens; grandchildren:

Shana Shaw Cochran and husband Brian, Jimi Shaw and wife Sarah, Raine Margoliner, Aaron Margoliner, Bradley Margoliner and wife Amanda; Bobby Margoliner and wife Skyler, Bailey Margoliner Khan and wife Sanobar, Jayci Radford and husband Cody, Payton Robertson, William Bundick and wife Laura,

Rachael Bennett and husband Jimmy, Hillary Traylor and husband Brandon;

great grandchildren: Chloe Montcalm, Jayce Corneileus, Lucy Margoliner,

Kona Margoliner, Cain Shaw, MacKenzie Shaw, Theadore Teddy Cochran, Penelope Khan, Petunia Khan, Pace Khan, Vallen Margoliner, Asher Margoliner, Blaine Margoliner, Sadie Margoliner, Maddox Radford, Remington Radford

Lily Bennett, Rose Bennett, Christian Bundick, Cameron Bundick, Cayson Bundick, Wyatt McCoy; and many nieces and nephews.

As we commemorate Dale's life, we gather to celebrate the profound impact she made on everyone she encountered. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service starting at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Second Baptist Church of Angleton with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
