Dale Willy was escorted by his angel to meet Jesus face-to-face on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the age of 68. Dale was born April 19, 1953, in Angleton, Texas, where he was a lifelong resident. He was a carpenter by trade and was always helping build, restore, or fix something. He had such a creative mind. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Terri Willy, whom he met when he was 21 and she 14. They were married 14 years later, and it was love for a lifetime. He also leaves behind his son, Dustin Willy and wife Crystal, along with their children Trey and Aria; as well as siblings Tommy Willy and wife Darla and Karen Zinda and husband Jerry; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends. His family and close friends knew him as a real life MacGyver because of his ability to tinker and take apart but seamlessly put back together just about anything. He had a passion for cars, especially Corvettes. He was a dedicated and hard worker, dependable, funny and light-hearted, and a loyal friend who was loved by so many. He had the biggest heart and a stubbornness that could beat any problem. His grandkids simply knew him as "Pops" and loved that he was more than just a grandfather; he was their buddy and playmate. Just before he went home, Dustin declared over and over that he believed his dad was the best ever, and those words were the last Dale heard on this side of Heaven.
