Daniel G ''Junior'' Martinez

Daniel G. Martinez went to be with the Lord on the morning of November 29, 2014. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Daniel V. and Mary G. Martinez. Daniel is survived by his wife of 42 years, Crestina C. Martinez, son, Danny Lee Martinez (Hope) of Georgetown, TX. He had four grandchildren, Jessica Falcon, Chris Guzman(Angelica), Alexandra Martinez, and Zoe Martinez. He was a great grandfather to three. In the last 17 years he took on the title of "tata" to two (Gabriela M, and Jason M. Schurr), whom not only knew him as uncle, but grandfather as well. He leaves behind a large family, including nine brothers and sisters: Janie Lara(G.T.), Constantino Martinez(Yolanda), Sandy Banda(Tony), Maria Maldonado, Felix Martinez(Cindy), Arturo Martinez (Ester), Aurora Martinez, Virginia Luna(Mike), and Crestina Gonzales(Felix). Daniel never knew a stranger. He was a very loving soul, and always had a story to tell. He loved his family, and took the time to look for and care for all of us. He was a lifetime Angletonian, and known by so many. Most mornings he could be found at McDonalds having breakfast. We will greatly miss him, and will most definitely carry him in our hearts always.
