Danny Richard Burwell Danny Richard Burwell, 65, of Angleton, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 surrounded by his family. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2nd Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Palms. Danny was a 1971 graduate of Angleton High School. He was a big family man and for him family always came first. Danny retired in 2015 from Chevron Phillips after 32 years. Danny was married to the love of his life, Avis Burwell for 43 years. Danny was born February 22, 1953 in Bay City, Texas to Don and Norma Burwell. Survivors include his wife Avis, Children; Bryan Burwell (Melissa) of Angleton, Ashley Harrell (Josh) of Brazoria, parents; Don & Norma Burwell, sister; Peggy Patton (Glenn) of Richwood, Grandchildren; Briley & Madison Burwell of Angleton, Brantley Harrell of Brazoria, as well as numerous other family and friends.
