David Lee Rich, 58, of Angleton passed away at his home Tuesday January 30, 2018. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday Feburary 2, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Angleton with Pastor Bonnie Cowing officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 Thursday evening at Palms Funeral Home. David was born December 29, 1959 in Sedalia, Missouri to Charles & Charmaine Weist Rich, and retired from Dow Chemical Co. He enjoyed vacationing with his wife, the outdoors and working on his tractors. David was preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents, Ralph & Cleola Weist, brother in law Dale Nelson and half-brother Bub Rich. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cinda Rich, sons; Joshua David Rich & Philip Hunter Rich & fianc Crystal Bosquez, grandson, Devon Anthony Rich, brothers; Mark Allen Rich & wife Lynn and John Charles Rich & wife Karen, mother-n-law, Priscilla Goehring, sisters-in-law; Sandra Nelson, Marcella Belk, Linda Finley & husband Berton, brothers-in-law; Larry Belk & wife Jeanette & Paul Goehring & wife Kaysie, and numerous other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Mark Rich, Brian Eastland, Gene Roberts, Willie Sawyer, Mark Stephens, Jeremy Burch, Paul Geohring & Larry Belk. Honorary pallbearers will be John Rich & Vernon Rich, Jr. David's family would like to send special heartfelt thanks to Dr. Emad Asham & his wife Christine for walking the whole journey with us and to hospice nurse Lorie Delgado for the loving care she provided.
