David Walter Garrett

David Walter Garrett, 63, of Brazoria passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at his home. Funeral services are set for 12:00 p.m. Saturday December 13, 2014 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Danbury Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10:30 until service time at Palms. David was born August 8, 1951 in Dayton, Texas to Benjamin & Gertrude (Jurek) Garrett, and was a lifetime Brazoria County Resident, and served in the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents, his nieces, Kimberly Reeder & Dana Meador and brother-in-law; Al Reeder Survivors include his wife, Penny Baker Garrett. Sons, Donald Baker, David Wayne Garrett & wife Leona & Bradley Garrett & wife Megan. Daughters, Carol Gibson & husband Ben & Alicia Beatty & husband Chuck. Brothers, Danny Garrett & wife Elizabeth & Michael Garrett & wife Marrianne. Sisters, Ramona Reeder & Pam Meader and 17 grandchildren including Cherish Garrett and 8 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bradley Garrett, Donald Baker, Anthony Gregory, Brandon Gregory, David Wayne Garrett, Donald Shotts, Timothy Shotts, Lloyd Gregory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to David's wife Penny Garrett.
