In Loving Memory of David Wayne Wallace October 14, 1942 - August 20, 2023 David Wayne Wallace, 80 of Angleton, Tx. passed away on August 20, 2023 at CHI Hospital in Lake Jackson, Tx. He was born to Verble & Ida Wallace on October 14, 1942 in Commerce, Tx. David was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired union electrician. David and Janette were meant for each other. They had the best "second chance" at life with each other after meeting 24 years ago. Soul mates and best friends, they had a true love story many only dream of. They were each other's shadow. They never missed a chance to two step in the kitchen and he loved to give Janette "Wally hugs". He was always full of compliments and loved picking special bouquets for his "Silver Fox". He was a loving, wonderful, and thoughtful son, brother, uncle, and papa. He was always there, willing to help anyone at any time. He jokingly called himself the "gopher." David is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by the love of his life Janette Switzer; his bonus children, Glenn Switzer (HIS special boy) and Tracy Stansel; his bonus grandchildren, Jasea, Trenton and Keira; his sister, that he loved very much Joyce Brock (Leo) and brother James Wampler; and niece Brandi Self (Steven). He will be missed more than any words could ever express. Service Details. Family and friends are coming together online to create a special keepsake. Every memory left on the online obituary will be automatically included in this book. View Tribute Book
