David Louis Weirich Beloved Husband, Father, and Devoted Servant of God With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dear David Louis Weirich, who gained his wings on April 19th, 2025, at the age of 54. David was a beloved husband, a devoted father, and a man whose deep faith in God touched the lives of everyone he encountered.
David was born on January 21, 1971, in Fort Hood, TX, to Paul and Shirley Weirich. He married the love of his life, Victoria, in 2000, and together they built a life centered on love, kindness, and a shared devotion to God. Their 25 years of marriage were filled with joy, laughter, and a partnership rooted in mutual respect and a shared spiritual journey.
As a father, David instilled in his children a strong sense of integrity, compassion, and faith. He always put his family first, dedicating his time and energy to their well-being and happiness. His love was unconditional, and his wisdom, though often quiet, was immeasurable. Above all, he was a devoted family man, whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved. His laughter, quick wit, and warm heart will be forever cherished by his family and countless others whose lives were brighter for having known him.
David was preceded in death by Paul Weirich, Wilma Bryson, and George Sembera. He is survived by his devoted wife, Victoria; Children, Danielle, Timothy, Kristine, and Nicholas; his beloved grandchildren, Trip and Faith; Mother-in-law, Luisa, Mother, Shirley; Sister, Julie; Brother, Jeff; as well as many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who were blessed to know him.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on May 24th at St. John Lutheran Church in Angleton, TX, at 2pm. All are welcome to join the family in honoring his legacy and the profound impact he had on all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the family’s fund.
Though David’s presence will be deeply missed, his faith, love, and legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him. We find comfort in knowing that he is now in the embrace of his Heavenly Father, where he will forever rest in peace.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
