Debra Jean 'Debbie' Hardey

Debra "Debbie" Jean Hardey, age 54, passed away peacefully at her Angleton, TX home with her family by her side on July 17th, 2012 after her courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born October 24, 1957 in Houston, TX and was loved by all who had a chance to meet her and she never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Marie Rendon and father, Miguel Angel Rendon. She is survived by her soul mate and loving companion of 15 years, Charlie Williams, her daughters Dawn Jones and husband Roger Jones, Melissa Campbell and fianc Robert Ardoin and her step-daughter Kim Bechdolt and husband Vince Bechdolt. She loved spending time with her 7 grandchildren Alisha, Garrett, Blake, Andrew, Mason, Kailyn and Emily and was known as "Granny" by them and often told others to call her that too. She had 7 brothers and sisters and countless extended family. Debbie found her true calling as a Caregiver in recent years and loved her job so much that she didn't even consider it a job at all. All of her patients loved her so much and she in return gave them so much to live for. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to those that cared for her through her illness including Helping Hands and Hearts Hospice of Lake Jackson, TX. Visitation will be held Friday, July 20th from 6-8PM and Funeral Service on Saturday, July 21st at 10:00 AM at Palm's Funeral Home, 2300 East Mulberry in Angleton, TX 77515.
