Delores Frederick

Delores Frederick, 78, of Angleton, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Webster and Hautie Thompson King, and brother, Herman King. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years, Ray J. Frederick; daughter, Tracy Wood (Scott); granddaughter, Amanda Bland (Matt), great grandchildren, Riley Bland, Ryan Bland, and one on the way; cousin, Linda Perque (Herbert); uncle, Mike Thompson, and a host of other family and dear friends. Delores was born on November 17, 1942, in Lincoln County, Mississippi, and was a proud member of the Eastern Star. She never met a stranger and wouldn't hesitate to give the shirt off her back to someone in need. She was affectionately known as "Momma" to many, loved everyone, and was shown that love in return. Delores was soft spoken, genuinely kindhearted, and a natural nurturer. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service for Delores will take place at Palms Funeral Home, on Saturday, November 20, 2021. The visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and continue until service time at 2:00 pm.
