Dennis Carroll

July 24, 1950 — August 12, 2021

On July 24, 1950 in Pineville, Kentucky a red-headed baby boy was born to Glennia Branum and Arvil Carroll. They named him Cecil Dennis Carroll. He later became the big brother to 6 siblings raised in Detroit, Michigan. Dennis moved to Brazoria County Texas in the 1970's where he raised his family. He left this earth on August 12, 2021 a resident of Seabrook, Texas. Dennis is survived by his long-time love of 24 years, Erminie Minard, their 3 fur-babies, Laser, Dax and O'Hara and his son Nick Carroll of Clute, Texas and his family Mindy, Maegan and Logan Carroll. Dennis is also survived by his daughters Michelle O'Neil (Tim), Laura Hastey (Brandon), and Jennifer Nevil (Mike) and their children Travis and Trevor O'Neil, Dalton, Dylan and Taylor Hastey, Morgan and Madeline Nevil. Surviving family members also include brother John Carroll (Lea) of Houston, sisters Cheryl Carroll of Dallas, Iva Corbett and Kathy Suminski who both still live in Michigan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as the Carroll clan was very prolific. He was preceded in death by his sister, Norma, his mother, his father and his step-mother Betty. Dennis was a very big-hearted man that loved deeply. Prior to his illness he had a very lucrative career as a multicraftsman and was loved for his sense of humor. His family will miss his guitar playing. He had been fighting liver disease for the past 12 years and spent his final days in the loving care of Psalm 23, a personal care residence in El Lago.
