Dennis 'Pogo' Lassman

Dennis Keith "Pogo" Lassman, 61, of Danbury passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at his home. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at St Anthony's Catholic Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-8 with a Christian Wake/Rosary beginning at 6:00. Pogo was born November 9, 1954 in Freeport, Texas to Richard & Evelyn (Filipp) Lassman and graduated from Danbury High School. While in High School he worked at the Fish Farms in Danbury and also as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Pogo was an avid fisherman and worked His father preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Lassman of Danbury, Texas. Son; Dennis Keith Lassman, Jr. "P.J." & wife Melanie of Trinity, Texas Daughter; Amy Lassman of Lake Jackson, Texas Brother: Michael Lassman of Point Blank, Texas, and sister Tondra Coker & husband Robert of Aransas Pass, Texas.
