DIXIE LAVON TOWNSEND GUENOT "ME-MAW" Dixie a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, found peace and comfort with her heavenly family, on February 14, 2017. Dixie was born March 11, 1945 in Freeport, TX and was an Angleton native, "Go Wildcats"! In 2005, she retired from the Brazoria County Tax Office after 21 years of service. Dixie was also an Avon Representative for 30 years. Dixie loved being social and seeing people smile, supporting her community often. Dixie served on the Angleton cemetery association, Angleton High School Alumni, Blue Santa Program, Supplies for Soldiers and the Red Hat Society. A kind and selfless soul, she thrived on making her loved ones happy. She walked through life with grace, dignity, strength and an undying love for her family. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Guenot (Cindy) of Warriors Mark, Pa and Ron Guenot and (Theresa) of Lake Jackson, TX. One daughter, Kimberly Williams (Richard) of Lake Jackson, TX. Her legacy continues with Eleven Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren. Her heavenly family greeting her includes her parents, Elmer and Clois Townsend, brother Larry Townsend, sister Iris Brune, nephews John Wayne Brune and Thomas Earl Brune and grandson John Mark Schurer. Pallbearers: Aaron Gaubatz, Rodney Townsend, Tony Townsend, Trey Stewart, Conner Jahnke and Nicholas Guenot Honorary Pallbearer: Chris Guenot Visitation will be on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. in Palms Funeral home followed by Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. also on Friday, February 17, 2017.
