Dolores Sena Lopez

Dolores Sena Lopez, 74, of Angleton passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Visitation will be Monday August 26, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary/Christian Wake at 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Mrs Lopez was born September 2, 1938 in Galveston, Texas to Eusebio & Apolonia Sena. She was an avid gardener, baker & artist. She did beautiful cross stitch and enjoyed working on puzzles. Dolores had worked as a beautician, substitute teacher and as a Clerk at Brazoria County Tax Office. Her parents and sister; Maria Torres & brother Jesus Sena preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 55 years Frank Lopez of Angleton Sons; Salvador Lopez of Georgetown & Christopher Lopez of Angleton. Daughter-in-law: Maggie Lopez. Grandchildren; Brandon C. Lopez, Mikey A. Lopez, Stephane A. Lopez, Stephen Hay & Kevin Hay. Great-Grandchildren; Brayden James Hay & Brianna Renee Hay. Sister; Gloria S. Cruz of Hitchcock and Brother; Eusebio Sena, Jr of Galveston, As well as numerous nieces, nephews, family & friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mikey A Lopez, Brandon C. Lopez & Stephane A. Lopez. Also special neighbors; Henry & Judy Devries & Ramona Trevino. Our very special heartfelt appreciation goes out to Chuck Churchwell, Brian McCoy & the Family of the McCoy's Corporation for their unwavering love and support all these years to our family. A special thank you to the Cypress Woods Nursing Home Staff for the care they gave our Mother and wife in the short duration she was there and also to the Doctors and Nurses of the Houston Methodist Hospital who took great care of our beloved mother and wife. A special thank you to Dr Sara Watters who fought a hard battle trying to make our mother well.
