Dona Hazel Voss

Dona Hazel (Partin) Voss, 62, of Angleton, Texas passed away on October 19, 2015 in Houston, Texas. She was born on January 5, 1953 to Donald Leslie & Vivian Dora (Roberts) Partin in Natchez, Mississippi. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father David Zapalac officiating. Interment will follow at the Angleton Cemetery. The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited by the Catholic Daughters at 7:00 p.m. Dona loved being a mom to her two children, Travis and Jeremy, and a wife to her husband, Johnny. She also loved her dog Curly. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton. Dona was a great cook, and enjoyed having company over for dinner. Dona was a heart transplant recipient in 1997, followed by a kidney transplant recipient in 2005 from her son, Jeremy. Her family will remember her as the strongest woman they've ever known. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Johnny Voss, oldest son Travis Voss (wife, Courtney), youngest son Jeremy Voss, her mother, Vivian Dora Partin, and her brothers; Donald Partin, Jr., and Willie Partin, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
