Donald Arthur Desaulniers, lovingly known as "Pops", was born on March 28, 1937 in Southbridge, MA. He passed to his Heavenly home at the age of 86, on August 11,2023 in Whitehouse TX.
Don gave his life and heart to his Lord and Savior Jesus and was a long-time member of Holiday Lakes Baptist church. Don made his living by his craftsmanship with woodwork and custom cabinetry. Among his many hobbies were fishing, hunting, bowling, playing golf, cards and dominos. He enjoyed painting, reading the Bible, telling stories and watching baseball. He loved to laugh and make others laugh as well. Don could build just about anything you can imagine. He was never shy about asking any random person "Are you living your life for the Lord?" And bidding that person well wishes and "Have a God Blessed day." He attended Mt Carmel Church in Whitehouse TX for the past year and a half and loved his church family.
Don is preceded in death by his parents Elizabth and Leo Desaulniers as well has his four brothers Charlie, Levy, Norman and Gerald, his first wife, and mother of his 3 sons, Patricia Gail Russell Desaulniers and his son Russell "Rusty" Desaulniers.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Robbie Desaulniers of Angleton TX, his sister Connie Piazzo of Southbridge MA., son Jim Desaulniers and wife Rebecca of NC, son Richard Keith Desaulniers and wife Carmen of Whitehouse, TX, granddaughter Savannah and her 4 children, grandsons Cody Logan of Whitehouse TX and grandson Kaleb Desaulniers of Fort Myers FL.
