Donald Lee Brown, 89, of Angleton passed away on April 9, 2022. Donald was born on November 29, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to Benjamin Franklin and Freda (Albert) Brown. He lived his life serving others. First, in the Air Force where he fought in the Korean War. Then on to Cape Kennedy to help further space exploration, working for Chrysler on those rockets before and up to the Moonshot. After retiring from Chrysler, he moved his family to Texas, working for Shell, BASF, and Exxon before retiring. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He was a clown with the Brazoria County Clown Unit and was blessed to put a smile on many child's faces at the Shriners Hospital. Those that preceded him in death include his wife Frances, daughter Sara Southard, and grandson Jeremy Brown. Survivors include his children: James Brown and wife Patricia, Michael Brown, and Peggy Townsend; his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. The family would like to extend special thanks to Layla and Stacey with Amada Healthcare for their special care.
