Donnis Parvin 'Don' Ellis

Don Ellis, Sr., 77 of Danbury, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012. Don retired from Dow Chemical Company after 36 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 1432 and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He took great pride in his family, especially watching his three sons play football for Danbury High School. Don enjoyed entertaining his family and friends and never met a stranger A memorial service will be held at Palms Funeral Home on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Smith to officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Don was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Patsy Steck Ellis and is survived by his sons, Donnis Ellis & wife, Jo Lynn of Danbury, Bo Ellis of Angleton and Rocky Ellis & wife, Kay of Alvin; daughter, Theresa Ellis of Angleton; grandchildren, Jodi Mann & husband, Shawn of Bridgeport, TX, Kody Ellis & wife, Kara of Pearland, Rocky Don & wife, Blair of Conroe, Keli Ellis of Austin and Megan Kennerly & husband, Ryan of San Antonio; great grandchildren, Brady & Karly Mann of Bridgeport, Brooklyn & Weson Ellis of Conroe & Jack & Sam Kennerly of San Antonio; brothers, Leon Byerly, Elray Byerly & sister, Phyllis Lopez.
