Doris Elaine Soria

Doris Elaine Soria, 62, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2012 in Angleton. She was born to Louis Jefferson Boone and Verna Reid Boone on May 26, 1950 in Yoakum, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Gonzalo Soria. She is survived by her sons, Gonzalo Joe Soria; Louis Jefferson Soria and wife Naomi; and David John Soria and wife Maranda, brother, Daniel Boone, sisters, Betty Boone; Janice Greer; Sue Lera and Pat Mentz, and grandchildren, Briana, Kara, Karmilla, Anthony, Luke and Isabel Soria. Doris was a devoted mother and wife. Together with her husband Gonzalo, she owned and operated the C-99 drive-in in Freeport, Texas for 21 years. Doris and Gonzalo were married for 28 years. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Palms Funeral Home chapel at 10:30 a.m., with interment to follow at the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation is set for Friday, June 1, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home.
