Dorothy Cartwright Cook, 71 of Angleton passed away August 10, 2012. She was born December 26, 1940 in Gause, Texas to Oliver & Dorothy (Perkins) Cartwright. Dorothy was a member of Second Baptist Church of Angleton since 1962. She was a well known upholsterer and owned & operated Willy's Upholstery, Dorothy's Upholstery and the furniture store, reflections by Dorothy. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, William Cook; children, Mike & Sherry Summers, John & Angelique Moore and Billy & Diane Cook; grandchildren, Keith & Tina Gratzer, Brad Summers, Matt & Kelly Summers, Seth & Megan Summers, Leif Summers, Cody Moore, Christina Moore, William Cook, Savannah Cook and Leanna Cook; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Ross Cartwright of Angleton, Alma Davenport of Angleton, Calvin & Jan Cartwright of Duluth, Georgia & Richard & Karen Bergstresser of Guatemala and numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 13, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church of Angleton with Pastor Chris Moore to officiate.
