Dorothy Doyal Sebesta

Dorothy Doyal Sebesta was born January 1, 1930, and died peacefully October 5, 2014, in Angleton, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Mamie Crawford, husbands Wallace Doyal and Albert Sebesta, brothers Donald and Bobby Crawford, and sister Louella Ketchum. Dorothy retired from the U.S. Postal Service after a long career as a rural letter carrier. She is survived by three daughters Teresa Granger, Donice Karl, and Luecretia Dillard, and their families. Dorothy also is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, and those who may not have been formally related by birth, but to whom she considered herself related. She touched many lives through her work, her acts of kindness, and her devotion to her Christian faith. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas with a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, Texas on Saturday, October 11, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or in Dorothy's name to Life Foursquare Church in Angleton, Texas.
