Funeral services for Dorothy Lee Crowell, 88, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Palms Funeral Home. Dorothy, a lifetime resident of Angleton, was born April 21, 1930 in Velasco to Alfred and Lula Bell Gormey and passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Angleton. She was an amazing woman and lived her life for God and for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.J. Crowell, daughter, Zandra Richert, and great grandson Kaden Buckheit. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Billy Don Crowell of Angleton, Richard Thomas Crowell and wife, Sally of Spring, brother, Billy Joe Yates, 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
