Dorothy M. Pohlmeyer

Dorothy Pohlmeyer January 12, 1931 ~ September 7, 2016 Dorothy Pohlmeyer, longtime resident of Angleton, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016. She was 85 years old. Dorothy was born January 12, 1931, in Galveston, TX, to John A. and Helen (Neely) Rodebaugh. She married Raymond Pohlmeyer on December 14, 1947, and they had three children. She was a talented seamstress and an avid gardener. Dorothy is survived by a sister, Peggy Rodebaugh of Arlington, TX; one son, Jeffrey Pohlmeyer of Angleton, TX; two daughters, Carol Cloudt of Richmond, VA, and Janet Mohundro of The Woodlands, TX; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Visitation will be at Palms Funeral Home located at 2300 East Mulberry Angleton, Texas 77515 on Monday, September 12, from 10 a.m. until noon.
