Douglas Lee Brockman, 55, died unexpectedly March 29, 2021, at home in Danbury. He was born May 14, 1966 in Lewisville Kentucky, the son of Sally and Larry Hayes. Doug attended Danbury School District. After school he was a foreman at Ford Contractors for many years. He celebrated 34 years of marriage with his wife Cynthia Brockman in 2019. He was a dedicated husband and father. He was a member of the Alvin Boxing Club and was a Golden Glove Boxer. He is proceeded in death by his wife, Cynthia Brockman, stepfather, Larry Hayes and son in law, Gabriel Sanchez. He is survived by his daughter Brittany Sanchez, stepsons, Charles Miles, James Miles and his wife Sonja Miles, mother, Sally Hayes, brother, Andy Holzknecht, nephew, Sebastian Holzknecht, granchildren, Katelynn Brockman, Alex Miles, BrookLynn Miles, Levi Miles, Grace Miles, Isabella Miles and Josephine Miles. A service of remembrance will be held at 2pm Friday, April 9 at Palms Funeral Home, 2300 East Highway 35, in Angleton. Burial will immediately follow the service at Danbury Cemetery. Visitation is welcomed to all from 1-2pm. For the safety of all attending, mask and are required and social distancing is encouraged. Service Details.
