In Loving Memory of Dustin Cole McEntire March 11, 1998 ~ September 17, 2017 Dustin Cole McEntire, 19, of Angleton, Texas, passed away on September 17, 2017. Services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017, at 10:00 am at Second Baptist Church, 1817 Shanks Rd., Angleton, Texas. There will be a visitation on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Dustin was born March 11, 1998 to Steven and Sandy Thane McEntire in Houston, Texas. He was a current engineering student at Texas A&M University and an Angleton High School Class of 2016 graduate. "A smile is a curve that sets everything straight." And, Dustin always had a smile on his face. He was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend. He was very passionate about his son, family, and friends. Oh, how Dustin loved to fish and hunt! He was very witty… there was always a scientific explanation about everything according to Dustin. You could often find him playing an intense game of Risk… he was ‘all in' in everything he did and excelled. Abraham Lincoln once said… "And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." There is no doubt that Dustin lived his life to the fullest. Dustin is survived by his son: Mason McEntire; parents: Steven and Sandy Thane McEntire; brother (best friend): Devin McEntire; Pawpaw: Billy Thane; Momo: Sally McEntire; uncle and aunt: Paul and Amber Thane; cousin: Brandon Thane; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Nana: Kathy Thane; Pawpaw: Dwain McEntire; and uncle: James McEntire. Pallbearers will be: Devin McEntire, Brandon Thane, Cody Vasut, Aaron Scott, Habraan Sosa, Hunter Barnes, and Michael Greathouse In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dustin's name to: The Sea Center Texas, 302 Medical Dr., Lake Jackson, TX 77566.
