Eddie Weldon Foley

Eddie Weldon Foley was born on January 30th, 1927 in Personville, Texas to Warren A Foley and Minnie Elizabeth McClaran. Eddie was a man of all skills. He has picked cotton, sold produce, owned a gas station, worked for the State Hwy Dept, owned dump trucks, and was a mechanic. He loved to hunt coon, squirrel and deer. He also loved to fish. Eddie was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back and who thought a handshake was your word. His family always came first and he dearly loved them all. His grandchildren and great grandchildren gave him such great joy. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Weldon Foley, his grandson, John Cody Walder, his parents, brother Thomas Foley and sister Elnora Brown. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Georgia Mae Foley, son Gerald Foley and wife Joyce of Washington; daughter Debbie Willis and husband Darryl of Angleton; and daughter Cynthia Walder and husband John of Angleton; Nine grandchildren; Christie Perez, Charlotte Sterling, Jeramie Willis, Melissa Rodriguez, Connie Wiggins, Shawn Foley, Kevin Billings, Aaron Billings and Paul Billings and ten great grandchildren; Three brothers, W. A. Foley and wife Gwen of Angleton, Milton Foley and wife Kathy of Lake Jackson, and Jerry Foley and wife Donna of Angleton and numerous nieces and nephews.
