Edgar "Sonny" Lee Oden, II.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Sonny (Edgar Lee Oden II.), who peacefully departed this life on March 6, 2025, at the age of 66 in Stafford, Texas. Born on December 10, 1958, in Beaumont, Texas, Edgar embraced life with an open heart and an unwavering spirit. He was known as Sonny or Lee, to his family, friends and coworkers. He passed unexpectedly and he loved his family with his whole heart. His journey was rooted in his hometown, but he cultivated friendships everywhere that his life took him and left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his partner Diep Vu; sister, Christine Lynn Oden and her wife Les Collura; daughter, Crystal and husband John Moore; son, Daniel Oden; niece Amanda and her husband Eric Ansley; nephew Benjamin Arcemant; grandson, Logan Moore and great nephew, Jaxon Ansley. Sonny's life was a testament to resilience, kindness, and the importance of family. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his ability to connect with others, and his unwavering support for those he loved. The family invites all who knew Sonny to join them in commemorating a remarkable man who brought joy, laughter, and love to this world.
