Edward John Machacek, Sr., 82, of Palacios passed away on April 28, 2023. Edward was born on November 24, 1940, in Damon, Texas to Frank Fred and Alice Mary (Marek) Machacek. He married Lillie Marie Prihoda on November 26, 2023. Edward was a commercial fisherman of Grassy Point out of Palacios. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Marie Machacek and his parents Frank and Alice Machacek. Left to remember him are his children: Edward Machacek, Jr. and wife Theresa, and Amy Machacek; three grandkids, eight great grandkids; and numerous other family members and friends. Service Details.
