Eileen Rich

Helen Eileen Coleman Rich Eileen was born December 5th 1921 in Sorento Illinois. The Coleman family moved to Texas when Eileen was 9 years old. She married Glen Rich in 1939 and they built a house near Danbury and raised two sons. With her great love for her family came a great love for cooking and that was shown as she worked for AISD Food Service Department, serving as a cafeteria lady at Angleton JH, Rancho Isabella Elementary, and Northside Elementary. She loved her work and always talking about the enjoyment that she got from her coworkers and serving the children. Eileen greatest love was humbly serving her Lord in many places at Central Assembly of God in Angleton where Glen and she were charter members. At the church she was in charge fellowship activities for many always making sure there was plenty of food to serve and that everything was perfect, the dishes that she prepared were always the first ones to be emptied. She also taught all ages of Sunday school and gave a helping hand to many youth activities Eileen is preceded in death by her parents; Harold Coleman and Hattie Emma NashColeman, her husband; Glen Rich Sr., Her sons; Edward Glen Rich Jr. ,Marshall Harold Rich, and infant son Gary Burl Rich her great grandson; Jeff Good, her brothers; Oils Coleman, Dean Coleman , and infant brother Charles Coleman Survivors included Eileen's grandchildren; Elizabeth George, Edward Glen Rich III (Trace) and wife Deena, Amy Arrant and husband James, Marty Rich and wife Kim, and Marsha Kessler, her great grandchildren; Matt George, Samantha Rich, James Rich, Allicia Rich, Kelsi Arrant, Katelynn Arrant, Dawson Arrant, Brittine Rich, Marley Rich, Chris Good, Brandon Good, and Abbey Good her great great grandchildren; Ever Arrant, Lila Rich, and Jace Good, her brother-in-laws Charlie Rich and wife Charmaine and Vernon Rich and wife Mary Sue and numerous nieces and nephews. Pall bears will be Kenny Lamb, Bob Rogers, Ken Coleman, David Rich, Trace Rich, and Marty Rich. Honorary Pall bears will be Bob McKenley, Charlie Rich, Pat Garrett, Jimmy Bryan, and Vernon Rich. Visitation will be held at Central Assembly of God in Angleton on Thursday May 23, 2013 at 5 to 7 pm. Funeral service will be held at Central Assembly of God on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:00pm with Pastor Brad Dubose officiating. Burial will follow in Angleton Cemetery.
