Elaine E. Johnson Well done, good and faithful servant….Enter into the joy of your master. ​​​​​​​Matthew 25:21 Elaine E. Johnson, 81, of Angleton, entered into her eternal reward as she was welcomed home to glory on Thursday, June 9, 2016 Elaine was born in Manhattan, NY on March 31, 1935 to the late Wilfred and Alice Garon. On October 29th, 1965 in Hempstead, NY, Elaine married the love of her life, David Johnson who survives her. She is also survived by three sons; Chris Johnson and wife Madelyn of Bell, FL, Doug Johnson of Angleton, TX and Craig Johnson and wife Phoebe of Angleton, TX. Elaine is also survived by her brother Barry Garon of Bath, PA and her sister Annette Vita of Lindenhurst, NY. Elaine was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren who were the joy of her life; Matthew, Miranda, Jasmine, Jonah, Mackenzie, Logan, and Camden Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends who she considered family. Elaine loved her Lord Jesus Christ and lived her life to bring glory to Him. Her faith is now sight. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, June 14th, 2016 at 11:00am at Palms Funeral Home with Pastor David Catoe of Danbury Baptist Church officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the services from 9:00am - 11:00am. Burial will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, TX. Active Pallbearers will be Chris Johnson, Doug Johnson, Craig Johnson, Camden Johnson, William Parks, Sr., William Parks, Jr., and Steve Bever. Honorary Pallbearers include Barry Garon, Lou Vita, Matthew Johnson, and Jonah Johnson.
