Funeral services for Elaine Francis Glass, 78, of Angleton will be held at 1:00pm Saturday March 26, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Angleton with Pastors John Black and Bonnie Cowing officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 1:00pm Saturday at First United Methodist Church. Elaine was born May 7, 1937 in Malden, MA to Frances and Eveleen Barchard Stevens and passed away Wednesday March 23, 2016 in Nassau Bay, TX. She is survived by her husband, Clay Glass of Angleton, children, Donna Martin and husband Chris of Kansas City, Kansas, Steve Germain of Kirksville, MO, Stacey Brister and husband, Bobby of Angleton, grandchildren, Ashley Dover and husband Tim, Rachel Sullins and husband, Danny, Derek Martin, Trishelle Griswold and husband Brad, Hannah Brister, Haley Brister, great grandchildren, Cameron Dover, Lily Dover, Teresa Sullins, Caleb Sullins, Jacob Sullins, Addison Griswold, Brilee Griswold, and one to be announced. Her passions included instructing ceramics classes for years in her basement and doing crafts shows, sewing for her family and loved ones, especially making dresses for her granddaughters and great grand-daughters. She loved knitting afghans and sweaters. She had a talent for envisioning the finished project of her latest quilt. She loved showering all of her creations on her family, and took great joy in the smiles and gratitude she received for it. Elaine was especially known for her quick wit and sarcasm. She loved her family and extended family as her own; fiercely, and unconditionally. The many organizations she gave to felt the ove she had for others through her donations to their charities. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, but she will live on in the spirited sayings she was known for. Pallbearers will be Bobby Brister, Chris Martin, Steve Germain, Derek Martin, Robert Lynn, and Zac Chamblee.
