Elia Santos

Elia Santos, 87, of Angleton passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 26, 2019. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Rosary at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton, Texas. Mrs. Santos was born June 11, 1931 in Uvalde, Texas to Nazario & Dolores Garza Rodriguez. Elia was an active member of the Angleton-Danbury Auxiliary for more than twenty years. She also volunteered at the St. Thomas Resale Shop and was an active member of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Community. She was engaged in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included gardening, traveling and family. She lived for the holidays and family time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy H. Santos. Survivors include her children: Mari Lou Garcia of Angleton, Irene Keaton (Bruce) of Georgetown, Rudy R. Santos (Rosalie) of Angleton, Gracie Egan (Bob) of Georgetown. Other survivors include her sister Molly Diaz of Angleton and grandchildren Mari Sandoval (Ernest), Jessica T. Santos, Reanna R. Santos, Christopher R. Egan and Jason R. Egan, and great grandchildren Noah and Mia Sandoval. Pallbearers: Bruce Keaton, Bob Egan, Christopher Egan, Jason Egan, Ernest Sandoval and Noah Sandoval. Honorary Pallbearer - Willie Thomas. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to the Angleton-Danbury Hospital Auxiliary. Service Details.
