Elida Benitez Elida Benitez, 71, of Clute, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 in Angleton, TX. She was born June 25, 1941 in Santa Fe, Mexico to Eustacio Benitez and Blausita Garcia Benitez. She was preceded in death by her three sisters and her father. She is survived by his sons, Rafael Pena Jr. and wife, Yezenia, Ever Pena and wife, Bertha, Alex Pena and wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Emily, Jessica, Rafael III, Ever Jr., Abigail, Ethan, Eilyanna, and Adam. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Primera Iglesia Church from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The church is located at 438 Hardy St. Clute, TX. A second visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home Chapel from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in Angleton, TX. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Angleton Cemetery.
