Elizabeth “Liz” Osorio went to be with her Savior on Monday, March 4th, 2024, after courageously battling stomach cancer for more than a year.
Liz was born January 16th, 1983, in Houston, Texas to Agustin Osorio and Eloina Angeles and was raised in Fresno, Texas and then moved to Rosharon, Texas.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Drusilla Mishaella Gonzalez, and her brother, George Richard Osorio.
Survived by her husband Javier Gonzalez, her daughters, Gisselle Janet Osorio and Anastasia Grace Gonzalez, and her son, Jeremiah Zachary Gonzalez. She is also survived by her father and step-mother, Agustin and Veronica Osorio; her mother and her husband, Eloina and Franscisco; and her siblings: Jacqueline Esperanza Osorio, Agustin Humbertino Osorio, Nicholas Felipe Osorio, Maria Veronica Osorio, Franscisco Soria Jr., Nefertiti Xo'chitl Osorio, and David Ronald Osorio. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws, along with her numerous church family and friends.
Liz graduated from Hightower High School in 2002 and began working for the State of Texas in the WIC office. She loved helping those who needed that assistance. Her desire to help others transferred over to her work at MD Anderson in 2006 to 2014, where she helped patients with scheduling their appointments and treatments. Liz received numerous awards while at MD Anderson, because of her care and compassion for the patients she worked with. She then became a stay-at-home mom to raise her two little ones, Anastasia and Jeremiah, whom she loved with all her heart.
Liz and Javier were married on April 18th, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Rosharon, where they attended until moving their membership to Sandy Point Bible Church where she attended faithfully it’s services and was heavily involved in its women’s and children’s ministries.
Liz was involved in Girl Scouts for three years and was a Troop Leader for two years. She was also a member of the Westside Elementary and Frontier Elementary Parent Teacher Organization where she helped with school activities and events.
