Emma Louise Herrin

September 17, 1958 — December 6, 2015

Ms. Emma Louise Herrin left this old world behind to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 6, 2015. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Rev. Kawanha Wayne (Juggie) Herrin, her Father Albert Lee Herrin, her Mother Anna Mae Herrin, her Brother Chester Ray Herrin, and her Father-in-Law Rev. David Clifford Herrin. She is is survived by her daughter Kristi Colleen Curtis, her Son-in-Law Rev Bobby Ray Curtis, and two granddaughters Kiannah Renaye Curtis and Annelise Kiran Curtis, her Mother-in-Law Helen Fay Rashall Herrin, her Bro-in-Law Rev. David Crockett Herrin two Sis -in-Laws Bonita Herrin and Dana Salazar and nephews Terry Perkins, Kevin Leblanc and Rev. David Ray Herrin and their respective families and many cousins that she held very dear. In her younger years she enjoyed riding horses and working on the family farm along with her Mom and Dad. She graduated high school and was soon married to Rev. Wayne Herrin and their lives became completely about the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ. They evangelized and worked with children and youth in several churches under the leadership of Rev. Charles Treadway and Rev. David Herrin. Eventually, the moved to Angleton, TX where they raised their daughter and founded The Upper Room Apostolic Church. They pastored there for many years. During this time Ms. Herrin acquired a position within the Brazoria County Library System from which she eventually retired. She loved art, sewing, and crafting. She was a member of Christian Tabernacle UPC, in Angleton, Texas for many years. She had recently become a member of Jesus Name Apostolic Tabernacle in Warren, TX and was in the process if moving closer to her "home" area but The Lord had better plans concerning her eternal home, Heaven. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
