In Loving Memory Of Emma Thompson 5/12/1928 ~ 9/30/2022 Emma Thompson, 94, of Danbury, Texas passed away on September 30, 2022 in Lake Jackson, Texas. She was born in Yoakum, Texas to her parents: Rudolf and Albina (Laure) Olshovsky on May 12, 1928. Emma was a loving wife, mother and Grandma. She was a lady of many hobbies, some of her favorites were: dancing, yardwork, housework, cooking and taking care of her beloved cat, Miss Kitty. She kept an immaculate yard and home. She was famous for her Noodle Soup, which was her grandchildren's request at all the Holiday meals. When Emma would make her Noodle Soup, everyone brought their own take home bowls to enjoy for the few days following. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. Left to cherish Emma's memory is her children: Betty Ann Plander, John Thompson (wife, Paula), and Wayne Thompson (wife, Cheryl), her 8 grandchildren and her multitude of great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her best friend, Gary Borneman. Awaiting Emma's arrival in heaven were: her parents, Rudolf and Albina Olshovsky, her loving husband, Charles Lester Thompson, her 4 siblings and her grandparents. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Palms Funeral Home with Deacon Gerald Peltier officiating. The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation on beginning at 12:00 until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 1:00 p.m. Emma will be laid to rest in Danbury Cemetery.
