Eudosia "Locha" Perez, 80, of Angleton passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, December 15, 2018 surrounded by her family. She will be deeply missed as she was the center and core of her family. She was born to Fabian and Felicitas Longoria in Runge, TX on February 11, 1938. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 6-8:00pm in Palms Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10:00am in Palms Funeral Home. Afterwards, family & friends may join the Family at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Locha was the eldest of 7 siblings. She grew up in Taft, Tx. where she loved riding her bicycle and being with friends. She was known for her firecracker spirit & her dynamic presence. She learned to sew from her grandmother. Quilts, stockings for Christmas, dresses, costumes are just some of her expertise. Her favorite hobby was going to garage sales & thrift stores. Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Easter. She loved being with family and making memories. Helping and giving were her strengths. Volunteering her time through her church, Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, schools, and nonprofit organizations. She gave selflessly to any stranger she met. Her saying was, "Where one person eats, everyone eats." She was a loving mother and grandmother who gave anything she could to whomever needed it. She was the Rock of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law Magarito Rendon. Locha is survived by her husband, Jose Perez Jr., children; Simona Maldonado (Montana), Juan Jesus Maldonado (Dolores), Alice Cortez Garza (Rick), Angie Latapie and Monica R. Adame. Grandchildren; Nancy, Rick Jr., B.J., Priscilla, J.J., C.J., Nicholas, and Adrianna. Siblings; Modesto Longoria (Anita), Santos Fuentes, Angelita Rendon, Maria R. Longoria, Alicia Solano and Juan Longoria (Connie), 23 great grandchildren as well as numerous other family and friends. The family would like to give thanks to the caring and dedicated nurses of IPH Hospice and the caregivers of Angleton Visiting nurses. Service Details.
