Farmer Krejci

February 25, 1930 — September 2, 2018

On September 2, 2018 Farmer Krejci, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and servant of the Lord, passed away with his family hugging and kissing him at the age of 88. Farmer was born February 25, 1930 in Elgin, Illinois to Rose and Jack Krejci. He was a graphic artist by trade but an evangelist at heart. He was married to the love of his life Bobbie for 64 wonderful years. They raised four (4) children, Francene, Joe, David, and Susan. He was a minister. First through baseball and softball where he spent many days, nights and weekends umpiring for the love of the game and the people associated with it. (Steeeeee-rike) He was the youth minister at the Angleton Church of Christ where he touched and influenced so many people. His favorite ministry was Camp Bandina Christian Youth Camp where he taught, encouraged, and influenced so many young people and adults. Daddy loved the Lord and did his work daily. He was an Elder at the Church of Christ in Angleton for over 30 years. Farmer was preceded in death by his father Jack, mother Rose, brother Jack, sister Anne and son Joe. He is survived by his wife Bobbie, daughter Francene (Duane Lindsey), son David (Lisa), daughter Susan (Scott McLean), mother-in-law Pearl Bacon, sisters Rose-Marie Dunlap, Collette Garcia, Shirley Girouard, grandchildren : Jason (Hermielinda) Lindsey, Nick (Amanda) McCartney, Lindsey (Matt) McAlpine, Amy (Brian) Patterson, Emily (Reece) Herndon, Hannah McLean, Kathleen Krejci, John Krejci, Camille Krejci, Reagan Krejci, Joseph Krejci, and Juliana Krejci, great-grandchildren: Chris Glover, Cameron McCartney, Wyatt McCartney, Harper McCartney, Spencer McCartney, Camden McAlpine, Ty McAlpine, Jax McAlpine, Sofia McAlpine, Rose Patterson, and Blake Herndon, nephews, nieces, cousins and countless brothers and sisters in Christ. A visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, September 5th at the Palms Funeral Home, Angleton, Texas from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at the Angleton Church of Christ, 1100 East Wilkins St, Thursday September 6, 2018 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Farmer Krejci Memorial Fund can be made. This fund will sponsor children attending Camp Bandina who could not otherwise, for financial reasons, attend. Please make the checks payable to the Angleton Church of Christ, C/O the Farmer Krejci Memorial Fund.
